Website Developer – Level II


Santa Fe
We have a position opening for an experienced website designer with highly-developed HTML, CSS, Javascript, XML, and Flash programming skills. This person we are looking for likes working directly with clients and is comfortable organizing projects for joint development with other Xynergy team members.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to join an outstanding development team in a community filled with world-class art and culture.

Required skills include:
  • Skilled knowledge of HTML/CSS programming in conjunction with javascript, XML and PHP
  • At least basic knowledge of Php
  • Complete knowledge of Adobe CS2 or 3 - especially Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Flash programming: including action scripting and dynamic data calls.
  • Video formatting and compression for the web
  • Ability to be productive in both Windows and Mac environments.
Desirable skills include:
  • Print and Logo Design
  • 3-D design and rendering in Maya or similar program.
  • QuickTime VR formatting
  • Copywriting Skills
  • SEO experience
The person we are looking for:
  • Has at least 2 years of experience working for a web development firm.
  • Has strong talent and skill in the areas of multimedia and graphic design.
  • Possesses a portfolio of interesting Flash animation and dynamic Flash-based websites.
  • Is friendly, reliable, and articulate.
  • Works efficiently and understands the need to produce results in a deadline-oriented environment.

Hours:
  • 25-40 hours/week starting
  • Mon-Thurs
  • 9 am - 5 pm
This is a full-time staff position - not freelance. We are most interested in the quality of your work as shown in portfolio per examples on the web and/or digital media.
